About the Role

We are currently looking for a reliable and proactive Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy event business supporting projects across the UK.

This is not a traditional warehouse role. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and varied, so we are looking for someone who can think on their feet, work efficiently, and get stuck in where needed.

The successful candidate will support warehouse operations, deliveries, collections, and occasional onsite event activity.

Contract Details

• Start Date: Monday 25th May

• Duration: 5 weeks

• Standard Hours: 09:00 – 17:00

• Flexibility is essential, including earlier starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work depending on project schedules and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Must be aged 21 for insurance purposes

• Experience driving LWB or XLWB vans

• Warehouse or logistics experience

• Ability to carry out manual handling and lifting duties

• Flexible approach to working hours

Driving & Logistics

• Driving company vans for deliveries and collections

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

• Supporting logistics operations for live projects and events

• Assisting with route planning and vehicle preparation

Warehouse Duties

• Wrapping and packaging equipment for transportation

• Picking and preparing items for projects

• Organising and storing equipment

• Assisting with stock handling and warehouse organisation

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Onsite Support

• Assisting with event setup and breakdown when required

• Supporting operational teams onsite across projects

We are looking for someone who is:

• Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment

• A confident driver with experience driving LWB or XLWB vans

• Able to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Happy to take initiative and support the wider team

Desirable Experience

• Experience within events, logistics, operations, or warehouse environments

• FLT or IPAF licences (beneficial but not essential)
