Job Title: Operations Team Member
Location: Loughborough (with potential onsite work across the UK and internationally)
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (flexibility required, including evenings, mornings, weekends, and bank holidays)
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Operations Team Member to support the day-to-day running of a busy operational environment. This is a varied, hands-on role involving warehouse operations, logistics, and occasional onsite event support both in the UK and internationally.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working in a project-based or varied work environment
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Good IT skills
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Professional attitude and work ethic
- Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated approach
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and being on your feet for extended periods
Warehouse Duties
- Wrap and package items for safe transportation to events
- Retrieve and return items from storage facilities
- Load and unload vehicles
- Assist with picking, preparation, testing, maintenance, repairs, and fabrication of equipment, scenery, furniture, and props
- Carry out stock checks
- Clean equipment and maintain a tidy working environment
- Support general maintenance of facilities
Logistics
- Drive company vans and cars to deliver and collect equipment from sites and suppliers
On-Site Support
- Travel to UK and (occasionally) international locations to support live events
- Assist with the setup and dismantling (derig) of equipment, scenery, furniture, and props
- Work under the direction of the Project Manager while onsite
Wider Responsibilities
- Support all departments with operational requirements
- Work in line with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Undertake additional duties as required to support project delivery and department efficiency
Desirable
- FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence
- IPAF 3A & 3B certifications
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (especially during onsite work)
- Ability to handle and lift large and/or heavy equipment
