Door Fabricator

Location: Derby
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £12.60 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Immediate start available.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Door Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for fabricating high-quality doors, working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate doors to precise specifications using a variety of hand tools.
• Measure, mark out, cut, and assemble doors.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to 5S workplace practices.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Experience with hand tools and measuring/marking equipment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in UPVC/composite door fabrication, including cutting, welding, and hanging doors (training can be provided if needed).
• Equipment maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification (advantageous).
• Ability to perform quality control inspections.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
