Raw Materials Operative
Raw Materials Coordinator (FLT Licence Required)
About the Company
Our client is based in Hamilton, Leicester, with additional sites in Leicester and Rothley. They’re a multinational business focused on innovation and sustainability.
About the Role
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role (37.5 hours per week). A valid Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT licence is required, as you’ll be regularly using forklift equipment (including clamp and fork attachments).
- Hours: 09:00–17:00 (some flexibility available)
- Overtime paid at 1.25x
- £15.85 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Using FLT to unload raw materials such as bobbins, poly, core boards and ink
- Making sure production teams have a steady supply of materials
- Managing stock rotation (FIFO)
- Supporting with raw material sampling for quality checks
- Creating and applying stock labels
- Keeping warehouse documentation organised and up to date
- Supporting and overseeing the Raw Material Warehouse Operators
- Managing stock control and inventory
- Liaising with planning to ensure materials are available when needed
- Producing reports using SAP
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable supporting or leading a team
