We're on the lookout for an Export Coordinator to join our well-established and respected client on a 12-month temporary basis.

The details:

  • Full-time

  • £13.26 per hour

  • 12 months with possible further extension

  • Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00

About the role:

As an Export Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing accounts for customers, distributors and hubs for shipments dispatched to over 70 countries globally

  • Making bookings with freight suppliers

  • Liaising with various internal departments, particularly various Customer Care groups and the operations team

About you:

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent communication skills, as the team deal with people globally in multi timelines

  • Ensuring customer focus at all times

  • Able to work under pressure, particularly at month ends

  • Flexibility and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience of working within an export/logistics/regulatory/quality environment

  • Comprehensive knowledge of international exporting and shipping requirements

  • Experience of working in a warehouse/distribution environment

  • Computer Literacy eg Microsoft Office, Oracle

  • Ability to work successfully in a small team, and able to go between filing and freight negotiations seamlessly.

  • Transportation knowledge, particularly international.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements.

  • Understanding of global trade compliance requirements.
