Last week was a celebration of apprentices and organisations shining a light on the positive impact of apprenticeships on organisations and the community. Many events and talks were held during the week of celebration from 5th February to 11th February, including open days, career/jobs fairs, and guidance sessions. Some virtual and in-person events are taking place this week too, so be sure to check it out. 

This year’s theme is ‘Skills for Life,’ from construction to catering and business to creating leaders, there are many resources available to carve your pathway. University College Birmingham published a recent blog, shining a spotlight on David Sanchez Heredia, training within the college, and completing his Level 5 Nursing Associate last year. Throughout NAW 2024, success stories echoed across the country on Linkedin and company websites, showcasing the real impact of apprenticeships on individuals and industries. Gaining hands-on experience is key for development which is exactly how Ismah from Leicester College made her dream come true. Her main focus was to start her own business and opted to enroll on a Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship at the college. Gaining confidence, learning about project management, and working as an Exam Officer in Leicester’s college exam team all provided Isha with an understanding and awareness of employability with skills to develop.

Completing a Level 3 Business Administration qualification opens up diverse career opportunities across various industries. Here are some potential career paths and roles we are recruiting for:

Administrator: Manage office processes and support daily operations.

Executive Assistant: Provide high-level administrative support to top executives.
