Job title:

How long have you worked in the Recruitment Industry?
Nearly 13 years
What excites you the most about your role at The Recruitment Group in todays recruitment landscape?
The people! Watching the teams progress & develop in their roles & seeing their successes. Always working hard, striving to get results but having some fun along the way!
Which of our core values do you feel like you resonate with the most & why?
Driven - I resonate with all of our core values although I thrive off working in a fast-paced environment. Always pushing myself to develop & be the very best I can be!
How do you inspire & motivate your team to produce the best results?
Develop the relationships with the teams to build trust. Always be present & on hand to support. Spend time with the people to establish what motivates them. Recruitment is an ever-changing industry so it’s important to pick people up when there are lows but always ensure you are there to celebrate the successes & wins.
How do you ensure TRG continues to exceed client expectations in such a competitive industry?
Really taking the time to get to know your customers & understanding their businesses & their staffing needs. Building long standing relationships & trust whilst ensuring a smooth recruitment process / journey for both client & candidate. Communication is key!
Is there an initiative or project you've completed whilst you've been at the company that you're particularly proud of?
My journey at The Recruitment Group started in January 2021 whereby I was tasked to develop our Birmingham Branch. I grabbed the opportunity with both hands & successfully exceeded all targets given meaning the branch was producing record figures.
I also had the opportunity to become a Mental Heath First Aider – this enabled me to develop my skills on how to recognise the signs & symptoms of Mental Health problems & how to approach, assess & assist correctly.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to a leadership role?
Always lead from the front. Be open to new ideas & ensure team members feel valued & listened too.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like spending quality time with my family & friends. I love to socialise & eat out at nice restaurants, as well as a good spa where I can (try to) relax & switch off!
