Warehouse Operative

We are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s busy team. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:

• Assisting with deliveries, including unloading and loading vehicles
• Receiving and storing goods accurately in the correct warehouse locations
• Preparing and loading customer orders in line with sales requirements
• Signing for deliveries, reporting stock damages, and supporting stock checks
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Carrying out daily checks on forklifts and other equipment
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture at all times

Skills required as a Warehouse Operative:

• A valid Forklift Licence is desirable
• Good numeracy, data accuracy, and basic IT skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Previous warehouse or yard experience is advantageous
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

The details:

• £13.00 per hour
• Temp to perm opportunity
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Shifts between 6:00am – 6:00pm (typically 7:30am – 4:30pm)
• 1-hour unpaid break per day
• No weekends or shift work
• 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays
• Company closed over Christmas period
