Job Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and dynamic team. The role involves ensuring an efficient stores service, including picking, packing, and stock control, to support production. You will help ensure the accurate movement of orders, maintain stock levels, and store products safely, while upholding high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate, pick, and issue parts to works orders from warehouse locations.

  • Prepare picked kits for production.

  • Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the system.

  • Move picked kits into designated locations.

  • Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts or reach trucks safely, following Health & Safety guidelines.

  • Carry out stock counts in line with cycle count procedures.

  • Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to your line manager.

  • Happy to work on and off a truck

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential (logistics and distribution experience desirable).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence essential.

  • Reach truck experience essential.

  • Good IT skills, including MS Excel, Outlook, and experience with MRP systems - desirable

  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.

  • Effective communication skills for working with other departments.

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Experience working within a highly traceable environment
