The Recruitment Group is working on behalf of our client, a well-established warehouse and logistics operation, to recruit an experienced VNA FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced VNA forklift truck driver looking for a long-term warehouse role with a reputable employer.
The Role
As a VNA FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage and retrieval of stock within a busy warehouse environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Moving and storing stock within the warehouse.
- Picking and replenishing stock at height.
- Carrying out accurate stock movements and warehouse duties.
- Ensuring goods are stored safely and securely.
- Following all warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team when required.
About You
The successful VNA FLT Driver will ideally have:
- Previous experience operating a VNA forklift truck in a warehouse environment.
- A valid VNA FLT licence/certificate or relevant accredited training.
- Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Experience working at height and within narrow-aisle warehouse environments.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
