Technical Support

We are looking for a technically minded and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our client's team.
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will provide technical support to internal teams and customers, preparing quotations, advising on product specifications and ensuring enquiries and projects are handled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
? Prepare technical quotations to meet customer requirements.
? Provide detailed product information and technical advice.
? Liaise with Engineering, Sales and other internal departments.
? Support projects, ensuring customer specifications and commercial margins are maintained.
? Respond to technical enquiries and maintain excellent customer service.
? Keep up to date with product developments and market opportunities.
? Undertake customer visits when required.
Essential Requirements
? Experience with hydraulic products, including accumulators, filtration, coolers, valves and manifolds.
? Previous office-based and customer service experience.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Good IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Desirable
? HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
? Technical sales or sales support experience.
? Ability to interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams.
? Knowledge of technical data and quality standards.
? Strong hydraulic knowledge and technical aptitude.
