Quotations Engineer
A new opportunity has arisen for a Quotations Engineer to join a busy technical service team based in the Farnborough area.
This is a varied position involving the preparation and management of quotations, coordination with suppliers, and general support across different departments. The role will require you to interpret technical input, manage follow-up processes, and assist with operational tasks as needed.
As the Quotations Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing quotations based on incoming technical data
- Sourcing and ordering required components
- Liaising with internal teams and external contacts
- Handling documentation and data entry
- Providing support with general departmental operations
Ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Confidence using MS Word and Excel (SAP knowledge beneficial)
- A proactive mindset and ability to multitask under pressure
- Experience in technical estimating or similar fields is preferred
- Industry-specific knowledge is a bonus, though not essential
This role involves collaboration with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external. A background in technical environments will be advantageous.
