Part-Time Personnel Administrator - Temp to Perm contract to start ASAP!!
Location: Rubery, Bham
Hours of Work: 20hrs per week – 5 days per week (Mon – Fri)
Salary: £12.00ph 

  • Organising recruitment

  • Arranging training and coaching

  • Lead on team development

  • Dealing with procedures and admin around Personnel

  • Overseeing volunteers

  • Communicate with Managers to be aware of all staff needs both present and future

  • Be responsible for the implementation, updating and monitoring of all recruitment

  • Devise, update and book all Induction programmes to all personnel in line with TOPPS standards

  • Take responsibility seeking and booking all relevant training/courses for all personnel according to Manager requests

  • Make new contacts for future courses and funding etc. and build a library of appropriate sources, training materials and training available

  • Deliver some training in house (Annual Refreshers, part of Inductions, volunteer first day inductions & TOPPS)

  • Monitor probation, temporary and contracted staff periods and ensure all staff have current Contracts of Employment.

  • Update all policies, handbooks and relevant documents and systems

  • Ensure that all methods of support for personnel are implemented & monitored and update systems as required with Managers (e.g. support clinic, supervision sessions, appraisals and reviews)

  • Monitor all areas of personnel and provide statistic (data base, stats, attendance etc.)

  • Play a support role in Grievance/disciplinary as required

  • Deal with all admin tasks involved in a person ‘finishing’

  • Take responsibility for the organisation of team building events and social evenings


General

  • Assist with all aspects of recruitment / interviews on the day etc. as requested

  • Take responsibility for ensuring the outgoing post is delivered to post office on time daily

  • As part of the team to ensure all handbooks, personnel leaflets etc. are printed and available at all times

  • Answer telephone calls to Personnel and deal with calls

  • Be flexible to suit the needs of the post and work fairly with the team as required.  Attend fully any training, coaching & team meetings etc., as required
