Job Title: FLT Driver – Counterbalance Driver / Forklift Driver
Location: Coleshill B46
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour £15.20 after 10pm
Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 37.5hrs
Contract Type: 12 weeks temp to perm

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Counterbalance Driver / Forklift Driver Counterbalance to join a busy warehouse facilities team. This is a dual-role position combining FLT counterbalance driving with manual handling and yard duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled counterbalance FLT driver looking for a long-term position with the potential to go permanent after 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance FLT truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck (FLT counterbalance driver role)
• Supporting general warehouse and yard operations
• Manual handling – physically moving products off trucks when required
• Assisting the facilities team with daily operational tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence (accredited) – essential
• Proven experience as an FLT Driver / Counterbalance Driver / Forklift Driver Counterbalance
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments
• Flexible approach to shift patterns (varying shifts required)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
