The opportunity
The Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business in Rugby. Due to continued growth and investment in technology, our client is seeking a qualified and ambitious CNC Miller to join its manufacturing team.
The business specialises in high-value, technically demanding CNC milling and turning applications for customers across engineering, aerospace, automotive, oil and gas. It has a strong reputation for quality, reliability and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Programme, set and operate CNC milling jobs.
- Work with MillPlus controls and G-code-based programmes.
- Carry out online programming and 4-axis milling.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Work independently, manage priorities and maintain consistently high standards.
- At least 10 years' experience in CNC milling.
- A strong CNC machine-tool background and a technically minded approach.
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls and MillPlus.
- Organised, efficient and confident working on your own initiative.
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Negotiable salary of £36,000 - £39,000, depending on experience.
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Overtime paid at time and one-third after 40 hours.
- Early finish every Friday.
