The Recruitment Group Continues to Support Make-A-Wish UK as Director Paul Hipkiss Secures London Marathon 2027 Place
At The Recruitment Group, we are proud to support Make-A-Wish UK as our chosen charity partner, helping to make life-changing wishes come true for children living with critical illnesses.
Our commitment to the charity continues to grow and we are delighted to announce that our Director, Paul Hipkiss, has secured a charity place in the 2027 TCS London Marathon, which will take place on 25 April 2027. Paul will be joining Team #WishHero and taking on the iconic 26.2-mile challenge to raise vital funds for Make-A-Wish UK.
Building on Our Fundraising Success
Supporting Make-A-Wish UK is something that means a great deal to everyone at The Recruitment Group. Earlier this year, members of our team took part in the Birmingham Half Marathon, raising an incredible £3,020 for the charity.
The fantastic achievement demonstrated the dedication of our colleagues, clients, candidates and wider network, all of whom contributed to helping make wishes come true for children and their families.
Charlotte Keenan Takes on the Bakewell Walk
Our fundraising efforts do not stop there.
On 4th July, Recruitment Consultant Charlotte Keenan will be taking part in the Bakewell Walk for Make-A-Wish UK, adding another challenge to our growing list of charity events.
Charlotte's participation reflects the passion and commitment shown across the business to support a cause that has become incredibly important to us all.
Paul's Road to the 2027 London Marathon
The TCS London Marathon is one of the most recognised marathons in the world, attracting tens of thousands of runners each year and raising millions of pounds for charitable causes. The famous route takes runners past some of London's most iconic landmarks before finishing on 'The Mall'.
Paul will spend the coming months training, fundraising and preparing for the challenge, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Make-A-Wish UK.
Every donation will help the charity continue its incredible work, creating unforgettable experiences and special memories for children facing some of life's toughest challenges.
