I've worked in Recruitment for over 15 years.
What excites you the most about your role at The Recruitment Group in todays recruitment landscape?
Working with a fantastic bunch of recruiters, who give 110% commitment to both candidates & clients, and who are open and honest with things that work well and things that don’t work well in order for us to create a fun place to work.
Which of our core values do you feel like you resonate with the most & why?
Genuine – I always say to people I work with, just be yourself, be honest, be transparent and ensure that whatever message you are wanting to deliver comes from a good, supportive place.
How do you inspire & motivate your team to produce the best results?
Celebrate all of their successes no matter how small they seem, and to have a team feel comfortable to talk to me about the good and the bad. Having the team feel comfortable that they can be open and honest with me, and also to bounce ideas of one another which will create a better way of working.
How do you ensure TRG continues to exceed client expectations in such a competitive industry?
By delivering a transparent, honest service and to offer a consultative approach, not being afraid to push back if a customers expectations aren’t realistic in securing the candidate that they really need to move certain departments forward.
Is there an initiative or project you've completed whilst you've been at the company that you're particularly proud of?
Setting up our National Perm Division and implementing effective , streamline processes, along with creating our brand.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to a leadership role?
Listen to your candidates and clients, and to not give up when faced with hurdles. Be You, and bring your own flair to what it is you do. Also don’t give anybody a task that you wouldn’t do yourself.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
I love going out with friends at the weekend and relaxing in my back garden with a drink!
