Who you are:

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in the recruitment industry as a Regional Manager. We need driven individuals who enjoy problem-solving and managing a number of existing branches that we will continue to grow and add to our portfolio of recruitment agencies. The ability to be able to multitask and communicate and motivate employees is key as a Regional Manager, as well as the drive to succeed and to ensure that each branch is continuing to exceed set goals and increase revenue.

About the Role:

As a Regional Manager, you’ll play a vital part in the day-to-day operational and financial function of each branch in your region. You will work closely, and report directly to the Operations Director. You’ll be responsible for managing 4 branches and ensuring each branch are building on and maximising the existing client base, as well as new business development, ensuring that each branch is following set out procedures and general growth and development of each individual branch.

Other duties will include:

  • Setting clear direction and expectations for your teams, managing in a way that enables others to use their unique talents to deliver business results.

  • Supporting Branch Managers and ensuring that you are an effective leader, answering any queries and leading by example.

  • Building strong relationships with our clients, ensuring we are constantly fulfilling their requirements, as well as looking for opportunities to increase delivery. This may mean attending client visits directly or assisting teams to attend client visits, ensuring that we are converting these into new clients.

  • Coaching of staff within your region to ensure training is best in class at all times to develop all individuals

  • Ensure compliance and governance requirements are adhered to throughout your area.

  • Championing our company values, and ensuring that each branch embraces and incorporates these into day to day branch operations.

  • Ensuring we are continually looking to improve our customer and client experience.

  • Accessing market insights around customer and competitor activity, proactively finding out what is new and innovative within the sector and applying to teams/branches.

  • Agree to branch KPI’s and cascade these out accordingly.

  • Regular 121 meetings with employees that report in directly to the Regional Manager.

  • Carry out probation, appraisals and performance improvement plans where necessary.

  • • Completion of reports and ensuring that these are completed on time.

  • Recruitment of new talent to existing teams, this may be recruiting for direct reports or assisting Branch Managers when recruiting new team members.

  • Identifying any areas of improvement that will benefit the business, and addressing these with the Operations Director.

  • Motivating your team to hit and exceed financial targets.

  • Ensuring service consistency across the region.
