We're on the lookout for an experienced Supplier Coordinator to join our well-established client based in Abingdon.
About the role:
As a Supplier Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Support the creation of achievable delivery plans by suppliers
- Ensure suppliers’ day to day performance is monitored and reported on against the agreed operational delivery plans and service levels
- Represent the Supplier Management Team across the Technology business
- Effectively manage supplier Change Requests, assist with Purchase Orders and invoice reconciliation to agreed process when required
- Help maintain the Supplier & Contract Management Information System
- Build and maintain effective direct operational level relationships with suppliers
- Coordinate activity across various teams with our suppliers to resolve problems and incidents that are impacting customers
Do you have previous experience working as a Coordinator in Procurement or Supply Chain within IT or technical services ? To be considered for this role, you will be;
- Qualified to degree level
- 1 years’ experience of working with suppliers in an IT or Technical services environment desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Planning and organising, including the ability to appreciate urgency and the importance of task when dealing with conflicting priorities
- An excellent communicator who is able to build productive cross-company relationships
- A good understanding of both the operational and commercial aspects of an effective supplier relationship is desirable but not essential
- Proficient user of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Able and willing to travel (including international travel)
- Strong communication skills with a friendly but professional manner
