Senior Transactional Finance Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transactional Finance Operations Lead to join our team on a part-time basis for a temporary assignment of 3-6 months.
This role will support the Head of Service, who is part-time on a corporate project, ensuring the seamless operation of financial functions within our dynamic and customer-centric environment.

Location: Southwark, SE1

Shift Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM

Type: Part-Time / 3 days per week

Type of Employment: Temporary Contract of 3-6 months

Salary: £29.98 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Transactional Finance Operations Lead, you are to follow the below:

• Utilize advanced IT skills in finance systems and Excel to manage data effectively.
• Lead and manage a team in a front-line customer environment, showcasing exceptional people management skills.
• Oversee debt recovery processes to ensure timely and efficient resolution of outstanding debts.
• Manage and administer Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger functions.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of finance systems to streamline operations.
• Organize and maintain operational files related to Accounts Payable tasks (e.g., invoice batches, shipping orders).

Qualifications and Skills:

As the Senior Transactional Finance Operations Lead, you are to possess the following:

• AAT, CCAB, or CIMA part qualified/qualified or demonstrable equivalent experience operating at that level.
• Proficiency in finance systems and Excel for data management and analysis.
• Strong understanding of people management within a customer-focused environment.
• Prior experience in debt recovery is highly desirable.
