Day shifts - 37.5 hours per week

The recruitment group are currently recruiting a senior buyer on behalf of a leading home furnishing manufacturer based in trafford park. Our client is a specialist provider of fitted furniture and staircase rennovations and is looking for a candidate with a similar background. The senior buyer must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment although experience of working in a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom manufacturing environment would be preffered. We are looking for a senior buyer with proven experience of purchasing furniture and stair part raw materials and stock replenishment. The main duties of your job as a Senior Buyer will include:

• Weekly, monthly and end of year stock takes
• Recording all data accurately and in a timely manner
• Purchasing and negotiating best price
• Managing Purchasing information and systems
• Monitoring QA
• Liasing with other departments
• General Administration
• Goods in quality control
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site at all times

The successful Senior Buyer must be:

• An effective communicator
• Experienced in Stock taking
• Have a proven track record of supplier negotiation
• Working on processes for start to finish
• Have experience working in a fast paced environment
• Have a can do attitude
• Experienced in Kitchen,Bedroom , Bathroom
