Sales & Production Administrator – Temp to Perm Contract to start ASAP!!!
Location: Nechells, Birmingham (B7)
Hours of Work: 9.00am – 5.00pm - Mon – Fri (1/2hrs lunch)
Salary: £11.79ph - £12.30ph (£23,000pa - £24,000pa dependant on exp.)
Main Job duties but not be limited to:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential 
  • Responsible for taking sales orders, verifying prices, sending out quotes, preparing dispatch notes
  • and book for deliveries
  • Managing customers’ back orders and ensuring prompt delivery when stock arrives
  • Dealing with incoming telephone and email enquiries
  • Offering customers an excellent level of service by dealing with them efficiently
  • Building rapport with customers
  • Coordinating the information flow with the production team
  • Producing and archiving documents relating to production, quality assurance and dispatch procedures
  • Communication with production staff
  • Informing about changes made by customers
  • Making sure that production process is carried out and based on the latest copy of amendment for the sales order
  • Solving potential problems noticed by assembly fitters with regard to sales orders (picking lists & Bills of Material)
  • Maintaining inhouse system (IBM AS400) in the field of stock control as well as producing all relevant paperwork related to production and dispatch processes
  • Production planning activities such as liaising with the line manager in order to give priority to extremely urgent orders and make him aware of special customer requirement
Skills and experience required :
  • Good levels of IT Skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Numeracy literate
  • Good telephone manager
  • Good Organizational skills
  • Be proficient and proactive in prioritising your own workload
  • Office working experience is essential
