This dynamic company contracts the manufacture of their components worldwide and performs quality control, warehousing, assembly, and dispatch on-site in Oxfordshire. Responsible for supporting the Quality Engineer in the day to day running of the quality department, to ensure an ongoing high level of quality of products being sold by the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out QC inspection of inbound stock using state of the art digital optical inspection equipment, associated CMM measuring and other specialised metrology equipment

  • Raising non-conformance reports with manufacturers to rectify any issues

  • Inspection of assemblies and kits produced in-house before they are sent out to customers

  • Generating and continuously improving QC documentation and processes, with the support and guidance from the QC Engineer

  • Follow all Health and safety instructions, given both verbally, and set out within the company health and safety policy. Always seek instruction on using unfamiliar machines, and use all appropriate PPE

  • You will be responsible for your own safety, and the health and safety of others around you.

If you need extra training, you must make your line manager aware, and never conduct work in an unsafe manner
