We're on the lookout for a Temp to Perm Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our well-established client based in Banbury.

About the role:

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting purchase invoices and credit notes.
  • Allocating payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Opening new supplier account
  • Reconciling stock and freight invoices against purchase orders, checking prices, vat and duty rates are correct.
  • Dealing directly with suppliers and freight agents to correct errors.
  • Update GRN list.
  • Daily bank reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts.
  • Processing all staff expenses
  • Monthly reconciliation of petty cash and credit card.
  • Ensuring all transactions have receipts and post to Sage.
  • General office admin

The working hours of the purchase ledger clerk are below:

Monday to Thursday 09:00am to 05:30pm
Friday 09:00am to 05:00pm

£12.82 per hour

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Good analytical skills
