Sales Administrator (Projects) – Permanent Contract to start ASAP!
Location: Solihull (Transport req. due to location)
Hours of Work: 35hrs per week – Mon – Fri between 8.30am – 5.30pm
Salary: £23,000pa - £27,000pa
Skills

  1. SAP, and specifically SD knowledge
  2. Accuracy essential

  4. Aptitude for building good working relationship with customers -Work as part of a team, but work on own initiative when required. The ability to communicate at all levels within the company and with customers
Key tasks:

  • Handle customer enquires / prepare quotations and follow up as required – manage enquires
  • Communicate with team and customers at all levels to ensure optimum service levels
  • Check accuracy of pricing / information on all documentation and customer’s order, advise management in case of differences
  • Process orders in SAP and check that all technical / commercial details are accurately transmitted
  • Originate / request / distribute commercial documentation as required
  • Follow up and keep customers advised of delivery phasing / lead times
  • Prepare and maintain order files with all documentation relating to the order and subsequent documentation, ensure check sheets are issued and completed.
  • Initiate and coordinate as necessary the progressing where special action is required to avoid delay in critical situations
  • Monitor and keep customer advised of material held up at various ports
  • Check and monitor customer credit status at enquiry stage & ensure sufficient cover available in relation to planned business
  • Assist in the maintenance of the customer database
  • Maintain close contact with customers personnel and team colleagues to ensure optimum results
  • Liaise with customer to support colleagues on monthly encashment issues
