Process Development Engineer

Location: Rugby Salary: £32,000 + personal performance bonus and excellent other benefits

Permanent position

We are recruiting a Process Development Engineer for a large Rugby-based global engineering company.

About the Role:

The Process Development team look at improving the manufacturing process efficiencies by implementing cutting edge technologies – for example using automation, 3D printing, 3D CAD, programming (e.g. Javascript) Data visualisation, sensing technologies, MS guides and Remote Assist, Data Acquisition, Databases or SQL.

The position will involve significantly improving productivity using automation technology.

This will include Industry 4.0 technology and leadership of long-term strategic programmes.

The position is a great opportunity for someone to grow in their role and take a step up to a more senior position in the business.

About You:

You will receive 100% support from the company – this is a major project for them. We are looking for someone educated to an HND/Level 5 in a relevant technical discipline (for example, Science or an engineering subject).

You will require a minimum of 1-year experience in a relevant industry, for example, manufacturing, technology, production, design etc. and have some previous experience in managing and leading a project in a structured way.

This will suit an engineer who is process-driven – using fact and a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Someone able to research and evaluate information within a field of science and technology.

Someone able to implement change within a manufacturing environment.

You will be exploring automation opportunities and best practices within the company. Identify and work with system integrators and internal stakeholders.
