The Recruitment Group are proudly working in partnership with an established company who are a specialised producer of castings for the automotive and off highway sectors. They are looking for a skilled multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their friendly team.

Maintenance Engineer/ WS10/ Engineering/ Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PPM and reactive maintenance across a wide range of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
  • Work with control systems, including PLCs, to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent future breakdowns.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and repairs completed.
  • Collaborate with other engineering team members to improve operational performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer the right candidate will have an Electrical bias (60-40)
  • Strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • 17th edition wiring
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in working with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Health & Safety practices.
