Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Nights
Location – Coventry CV2
Shifts - 4 on and 4 off (6pm - 6am OR 7pm - 7am)
Package – Basic Salary of £43,409, Attendance Bonus of £1.10 per contracted hour, Overtime Opportunity Paid at 1.5x, Shift Allowance of £2k

The Role
As a result of our client's sustained growth, they are in pursuit of a quality candidate to slot into their Engineering Night Shift team. The role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is to contribute to the sustained daily production of quality pig food products, and carry out the maintenance requirements of the production factory. Your duties will also include:
  • Closely collaborate with Operations and Technical departments to improve engineering standards throughout the plant
  • Perform Reactive and PPM tasks on plant assets such as replacing conveyor belts and sensors, and maintaining flipping machines and injector heads
  • Conduct installation of new parts / equipment
  • Respond to colleague and manager requests including external parties such as subcontractors
  • Adhere to safe working practices in-line with our client's Health and Safety policy

The Ideal Candidate
The right candidate for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will ideally be already working within the automated production / manufacturing (FMCG) industry. Our client is specifically looking for a candidate who is proactive, logical, has excellent communication and is focussed on delivering projects to the highest standard. You will also have:
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification (Electrical/Electronic)
  • Knowledge, understanding and adherence to Health and Safety requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Overall Effectiveness (OEE)
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
