Are you a highly skilled Mig Welder?

Worked in the automotive industry?

Interested in a new position which is an AMAZING company to work for? Then this job might be the one for you!

The company work on classic vehicles – VERY low volume manufacturing. This is not a massive automotive company where you are just a number – this is a small, friendly team working for a small friendly engineering company. Very professional – experts in what they do. They are based in Woodford Halse (about 6.5 miles south of Daventry in Northamptonshire and about 12 miles north of Banbury) – so you will no doubt need your own transport to get there.

They are looking for a “Shell Builder” This is working on classic cars. For example, take a 30-year-old Porsche 964 … they strip it down to the shell… chemically remove all imperfections to get it down to the bare shell… and then repair. This is a skilled welding job… Ideally, you will have worked with classic cars (as a job – not a hobby)… and you can weld to a high standard.

Attention to detail and care is extremely important – these vehicles cost a fortune! Obviously, you will need to read Engineering Drawings

This is a PERMANENT position although a contract would be considered. You will be working with specialist Build Technicians that come from JLR, Ex Red Bull, F1 Technicians etc.

You will need to weld to a coding standard have your own welding kit.
