We're on the lookout for a Part Time Land Charges Assistant to join our well-established client based in Banbury.
About the role:
As a Land Charges Assistant, you will be responsible for:
To assist in the provision of a quality local Land Charges service, recording details of all searches received on a daily basis
To carry out the various procedures necessary to complete all searches received, in a timely and accurate manner.
To use the section’s systems effectively.
To liaise with all relevant departments across the organisations and other agencies, in order to obtain the necessary information required to complete a search. If necessary, accessing the appropriate database to interrogate in order to obtain the necessary information.
To assist private search companies wishing to undertake personal searches
To provide administrative functions for the section including recording and processing fees
To comply with the agreed procedures for the receipt and reconciliation of all fees received.
To deal with telephone and written enquiries in professional manner.
To undertake any other reasonable duties relating to the work of the Land Charges Team.
The working days as a Land Charges Assistant are Wednesday to Friday 15 to 18 hours a week (Flexible on start and finish times)
£11.93 per hour
Background working in Administration in a busy office environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
Good IT and keyboard skills
Able to use own initiative and judgement
Attention to detail
