We're on the lookout for an Internal Sales Engineer to join our well-established client based in Loughborough on a permanent, full-time basis.
Full time (37 hours per week), permanent Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 16:30 | Friday 8:30 – 16:00 with a 30-minute lunch break
Up to £28,000 per annum
In-house training will be provided on internal systems
About the role:
As an Internal Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Discuss and recommend solutions for customer queries
Liaison with client factories and outside suppliers to complete offers
Development and expansion of sales opportunities Liaising with and providing customers with quotations
Building and maintaining customer relationships
Handling enquiries and providing customers with quotations
Providing technical support to external sales managers
The entry and updating of reports to ensure project tracking is kept up to date.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have an energetic sales outlook, strong customer focus and key eye for detail.
Additional key qualities include:
Ability to work well as a team but initiative to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain excellent customer relationships
Proficient IT skills and willingness to learn new company systems
Mechanical / Electrical engineering background is desired.
