I am recruiting a Procurement Specialist.  As the procurement/sourcing specialist you will be responsible for negotiating industry-leading national agreements and ensure best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions.

About the role:
Reporting to the Sourcing Manager you will have key interactions with

  • Legal team

  • Commercial Analysts

  • Clinical Integration

  • Operational Support Team

  • Account Managers

Sourcing Process

  • You will be responsible for the sourcing process of your assigned categories.

  • This includes market research, bid preparation, RFI, strategy development & validation, SQ, RFP/ITT, contract negotiations, and contract launch

  • Presents category strategies and final awards to internal stakeholders for review and discussion, before being validated by members

  • Delivers quality presentations to customers

  • Undertakes a pre-assessment of award scenarios and utilises outputs to inform sourcing strategies for assigned categories

  • Utilises knowledge of procurement processes to determine appropriate procurement approaches required to deliver required value for all stakeholders


About You:

Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models

  • Aligns internal and external resources to achieve objectives

  • Demonstrates consistently good attention to detail

  • Works effectively as part of a team

  • Understands and interprets complex instructions, proposals, and contract language

  • Demonstrates excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills

  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products, proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
