We have an exciting opportunity for an HR & Health and Safety Assistant to join our clients well-established and busy Warehouse and Distribution company located in Witney.

As HR & Health & Safety Assistant key responsibilities include:
Assist the Company to ensure that legal and corporate safety, health, and environmental requirements are implemented, and the Board has a high-level assurance on compliance.
Prepare job descriptions, advertise vacant positions, and manage the employee induction process, including ensuring all required documentation is obtained.
Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated in partnership with operational managers.
Assist in developing, reviewing, checking, monitoring the implementation of risk assessments, safe systems of work, procedures, and processes, highlighting areas for potential improvement, monitoring, tracking, and closing out actions, complementing standards required.
Ensure that all accidents and incidents are documented, recorded, investigated, and recommended improvements are implemented.
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR or health and safety, however, this is not essential.
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday with 22 days holiday + bank holidays.
