Food Production Operative

The Recruitment Group is looking for Food Production Operatives to work for our new client based in Barrow upon Soar. Please note that this is a temp-to-perm position.

Pay for the Food Production Operative

• £11.44 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4pm or 12 mid-day to 9pm
• (can be flexible depending on transport requirements)
• 30 minute unpaid break

About the role – temp to perm

You will be working within a food production environment and your duties will include:

• Packing of customer products as per required specification
• Basic Quality checks of product
• General production duties
• Some lifting of product
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
• To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
• This is a fast-moving environment
• All team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with the hygiene regulations at all times
• General duties outlined by your shift supervisor

About You:

• Need to have a can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck in
• Work as part of a team and be able to follow instruction
• All body piercings, false eyelashes and false nails must be removed
• All nail varnish must be removed
• A Food Hygiene certificate would be beneficial but not essential
