Job Title – Fabrication Manager
Package - £42,000 + £5,725 Car Allowance + Pension + 26 Days of Holiday + Bank Holidays
Location – Coventry
Hours – Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Our client specialise in the manufacture of fabricated metal and plastic products for the Water, Process and Oil & Gas sectors. Supplying worldwide, they have offices and manufacturing facilities across Europe, the US and Asia.

Over the centuries the business have had many product ‘firsts’ thanks to their continued innovation and research and development. The business have also continued their growth through acquisitions businesses with specialisms with other materials and markets.
 
The Role
The Fabrication Manager will be overseeing the manufacture of various plastic, metal and composite components. On average the factory is handling 700 products per month across the four production cells, with each Team consisting of a Team Leader and between 6 and 12 fabricators and technicians. The site operates 7 days a week, however the Fabrication Manager will be working Monday to Friday so they will need to ensure everything is prepared in advance for the weekends.
The Fabrication Manager will need to ensure all orders are allocated correctly, as well as audit and inspect work periodically to ensure products quality is correct. Production Scheduling is completed by the Production Planner, however Fabrication Manager will be responsible for managing the builds through.
Ideally the client would like someone who is from a manufacturing background, ideally dealing with the production of components for Water, Process or Oil & Gas, however they are happy to look at candidates who have a strong background with general fabrication too. Full product training is given as part of the induction.
