We're on the lookout for an Estimator to join our well-established client based in Loughborough on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the role:

As an Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure that all estimates are accurate and completed to schedule.

  • To ensure that all information meets the customers’ requirements.

  • Taking briefs from clients and the sales team on new projects, offering client advice on the best way of manufacturing to meet cost and timescales.

  • Process orders in alignment with the company sales procedure.

  • To respond to enquiries from clients by phone and email within agreed SLA’s.

  • Providing clients with estimates using quotation package and making follow up calls.

  • To ensure that all specifications for procured parts are accurate and available for the Purchasing Department to schedule.

  • To report sales data on a weekly basis.

  • Ensure CRM software is kept up to date with relevant information on a daily basis.

  • Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues.

  • To investigate opportunities to reduce costs in design, materials and manufacturing techniques.

  • Review existing product performance via internal, external customer feedback and respond appropriately.

Any other duties deemed by management to be commensurate with the grade for this post.

About you:

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to liaise effectively between internal and external stakeholders. In addition to strong IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

It is essential that the successful candidate can work well as part of a team as well as initiative to work independently.
