The Recruitment Group are hiring for a highly established manufacturer based in Thurmaston, LE4, for a maternity cover (6 months FTC)

Job Purpose
To provide a contact point for customer and colleague queries and to complete all necessary administrative and organisational tasks about service work and spare parts orders.

Responsibilities of Sales and Service Coordinator
. To answer the telephone and provide a helpful environment
. Processing customer orders & ordering parts from our factory and other suppliers
. To contact and organise visits to existing customers
. Dealing with stock transactions for field engineers
. Packing and shipping spare parts orders to customers in the UK and Ireland, as well as to our factory in Germany. Preparing documents for export shipments (Proforma invoice)
. To raise quotations for engineer visits, Service agreement renewals and spare parts orders
. To follow up on customer payments
. Work closely with the colleagues at our parent company and work in line with the company's policies and procedures

Skills and Knowledge of Sales and Service Coordinator
. Good communication and interpersonal skills

. Understanding of electromechanical engineering is essential

. Experience in a technical role

. Experience in a customer service role would be an advantage

. Must be self-motivated, able to work alone and with others

. Good organizational and administrative skills

. Computer literate, including MS Office

. Knowledge of basic export rules would be an advantage
