We're on the lookout for an Electrical Service Workshop Engineer to join our well-established client based in Rugby.

About the role:
As a Technical Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Electrical Service, maintenance and repair of mobile generators and battery storage units working on-site when required – the position will also involve working within the Rugby workshop.
This will include the use of service fully expensed vehicles from time to time to travel to sites and carrying out repairs.
The successful candidate will have experience in the field service industry and have an electrical engineering background. The primary role of this position is the servicing, repairing and overhauling of the hybrid battery storage units, responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance as required.

The Electrical Service Engineer will be working on-site servicing of customer battery storage units, at locations across the UK. Identification and diagnosis of faults and subsequent rectification and testing of equipment. The candidate will have a good ability and aptitude to be able to carry out onsite repairs to keep the client operational whilst the correct parts are ordered. Dependent upon the site locations, the successful candidate may need to work away from home on odd occasions. The company offers a true 24/7 call out service and as such the successful candidate will need to partake in the call out rota. As the demands of the business vary, it is likely that you will become involved in other aspects of their operations such as installation and commissioning work and participate with customer onsite training.
You will also repair and maintain the equipment within the Rugby factory as well as helping to commission & test electrical equipment.
You will need to have excellent customer service skills for the position.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience. 16-18th Edition / City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical engineering would be prefered
A full Driving License is essential.
Most importantly will be a positive attitude and a willingness to be flexible and help out when needed.
