Counterbalance Driver
The Recruitment Group are recruiting for Counterbalance Drivers in Birmingham. As a Counterbalance driver your duties will include:
• Operating a Counterbalance to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse or industrial environment.
• Loading and unloading materials from vehicles.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Checking and inspecting goods upon delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties including but not limited to labelling, sorting, and stocktaking.
• Reporting any maintenance or machinery issues to the line manager.
• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Driver Licenses from external accrediting bodies are mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Counterbalance driver within an industrial or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with excellent time management skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Shift Pattern: 6am till 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available
