Job Title: Business Support Officer (CAH)

Location: Yate-BS37

Pay Rate:£11.81 per hour

Hours Per Week: 37.00

Start Date: 20/11/2023.

End Date: 16/02/2024

Office Hours:
Mon - Thurs: 8:45 - 17:00
Fri: 8:45 - 16:30

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (At least one day per week in the office, additional attendance for team meetings and note-taking)

About the Role:

As a Business Support Officer (CAH), you will play a key role in providing efficient administrative support within a dynamic and hybrid working environment. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, maintaining records, supporting financial processes, and fostering strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative support to managers, ensuring the effective implementation of procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the service area, addressing inquiries and information requests.
  • Collate and maintain records, analyse information, and interpret data to ensure accurate statements are produced.
  • Utilize computerized systems for data retrieval and interpretation.
  • Support division finances by inputting data, purchasing goods/services, and processing petty cash claims.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining budgets and financial information.
  • Research information within the area of service specialism and collate evidence for presentation in reports.
  • Draft sections of documents for use by others.
  • Interact with customers, colleagues, and partners to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Relay specific concerns, queries, and issues accurately and promptly.
  • Liaise with colleagues to provide administrative support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of 3 grade C's at GCSE
  • Effective communication skills using various media.
  • IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office, and experience in maintaining computerized record systems.
  • Experience in using databases, running standard reports, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
  • Experience in basic financial procedures (e.g., petty cash, invoicing).
