We’re looking for someone with years of proven experience in a sales role, and a passion for driving new business whilst maintaining excellent existing customer relationships. Motivation, and organisation are key, as you’ll be managing an ever-growing group of clients, and to really succeed in the role you’ll need to embrace new challenges, and love delivering results.

The Role
As our Business Development Manager you’ll act as the driving sales force in our business and report to our Sales Director. Your main responsibilities will be to seek out new business opportunities, securing face to face time with senior decision-makers at prospective clients, and selling our bespoke recruitment service.

You’ll be expected to follow up on internal leads, as well as generating your own, and keep our Sales Director up to date through weekly catch-ups. This is a people-focused role, and most of your time will be spent engaging with clients, nurturing existing relationships, and working hard to build strong new ones.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Work on bids and tenders for prospective clients

  • Pitch to prospective clients in the Industrial, Office, and Professional sectors, as well as managed on-site services.

  • Promote the company’s services, ensuring you predict/address client objectives.

  • Prepare sales contracts and ensure a log of these are updated on the CRM system.

  • Agreeing to financial targets and exceeding these

  • Using social media to research decision-makers and look to contact them via phone, email, or direct messaging.
