Business Development Manager – Recruitment
Salary £25,000 - £40,000 (depending upon experience) + commission.
As a Business Development Manager for The Recruitment Group, you will be ambitious, enthusiastic and support us to grow and develop our clientele across our specialist divisions which include Office & Professional and Industrial sectors, by forging strong relationships and boosting financial growth.
You will be representing our company and selling on behalf of our area specific branches that are looking to increase sales across our specialist sectors.
This is a full time, permanent position that will require you to visit various branches and work from each of these from time to time.

As the Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the Sales Director on a daily basis. The overall goal of the Business Development Manager will be to seek out new business opportunities, introduce our company and explain in detail our bespoke recruitment services, discuss the client’s needs, and ensure the customer is confident that we will deliver.
You will be expected to follow up on leads passed over to you from Internal employees, as well as researching and contacting businesses that you have identified as a prospective customer.
Other duties will include:
•Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
•Arrange business meetings with prospect clients.
•Research and identify new markets and customer needs.
•Promote the company’s services, ensuring you predict / address client objectives.
•Prepare sales contracts and ensure a log of these are updated on the CRM system.
•Agreeing to financial targets and exceeding these
•Using social media to research decision makers and look to contacting these via phone, email, or direct messaging.
•Contacting lapsed clients and re-introducing our services.
•Producing regular forecasting reports
Who are you?
The Business Development Manager role would suit someone with previous B2B sales experience, ideally from a recruitment background that is money motivated and has the drive to succeed.
